Legend has it that the ancient springs, Saturnia Tellus, were the secret home of the god Saturn.  The extraordinary, almost miraculous power of the water to restore health, vitality and beauty was already well known in Etruscan and Roman Times.  Today, these vigorous and beneficial springs which pour out of the volcanic subsoil, at a temperature of 37 C, are still a natural phenomenon.

Located at the foot of the medieval town of Saturnia, in the heart of Tuscan Maremma, the Hotel Terme di Saturnia is an original restored building made of travertine stone - a peaceful oasis immersed in an age-old park. 

Closest train station is Grosseto, 40 minutes away.  We can arrange for private car transfers to our spa from all major cities and airports in Italy.  Transfer from Rome or Florence airport takes approximately 2 hours.

 This first-class, four-star hotel, with 90 rooms, 8 of which are junior suites, comprises the refined Villa Montepaldi Restaurant, a large lounge with a piano-bar, a conference room for up to 80 people, a well-equipped gym and the Institute of Thermal Medicine and Scientific Cosmetology.
Furthermore, in the park, in addition to the thermal spring and the four thermal pools there are two tennis courts, a snack bar, an Art Gallery, and a boutique.
