The total accommodation capacity of the resort is of 9745 places in hotels of 1-3 stars (1386 in the balneo-touristic group compound of the following hotels: Delfinul, Meduza, Steaua de Mare - 2 stars), having direct access to a modern treatment base and 750 places in villas of 1-5 stars.The conplex offers many pools with sea water, tennis and minigolf grounds, parks for children  open-air theatres. One can practice sportive fishing, nautical sports at the modern facilities of the resort, can play mechanical games, billiards and go to discotheques. So as to spend an evening with a traditional touch, one may go to the folkloric parties held in the restaurants with Romanian specificity (Nunta Zamfirei), and in outdoor restaurants.
The previous older resort (once known as Carmen Sylva) has been entirely renovated, now having a new aspect. It has a total capacity of 4468 places in hotels of 1-2 stars and 1117 places in villas of 1-4 stars.

The sea - has a good salinity, appropriate for the human organism (16 g/l) producing no harm and irritation to the eyes. The average temperature of the water in mid-summer is of 21 - 23 C degrees. The absence of the tides and of big waves at the shore as well as the gradual depths of the sea completely exclude any risk for the children and for those who can not swim. In the Black Sea there are no sharks or maritime currents.

The beaches - have only finely grained sand or of medium granularity, are sufficiently large and generally, without any rocks underneath.
Natural factors for balneary cures. Sulphurous mineral waters with chlorides, bicarbonate, sodium, calcium, half thermal, with a total mineralization of 1,2 1,9 g/l. The seawater also has chlorides, sodium, sulphates and magnesium as well as aerosols. Vegetable slime mud is to be found in the super-concentrated salt lake Techirghiol, while peat coal mud in Mangalia.
